Hello, and welcome currently in science we have been working around different types of energy. Today for you guys I will be explaining the different types of energy and some potential energy.
- Kinetic energy?
Kinetic energy is a form of energy that an object or a particle has by reason to move. If done right the object should move in any direction if able to direct. One of them could be a slingshot it has kinetic and Elastic potential energy. By the force of you pulling the rubber band back and the object launching forward.
2. Sound energy?
Sound energy is vibrating particles cause sound. Like a speaker’s radio, basically anything that can produce sound.
3. Electrical energy
Electrical energy is also one of the main energies that we use to this day. It is found in anything that can or uses electricity. Like houses, devices and even batteries.
4. Heat energy
Heat is the result of the movement of small particles called atoms, molecules or iron in solid liquids and gases. Heat energy can also be traveled through one object to another. You can find Heat energy from the sun, burning wood, or fire.
5. Light energy
Light is a form of energy made from electromagnet radiation. Light consists of photons. You can find light energy from stars, light bulbs, lasers and hot objects
6. Gravitational potential energy
Gravitational potential energy is the energy stored in an object as the result of its vertical position or height. You can find gravitational potential energy near the surface of the earth
7. Chemical potential energy.
Chemical potential energy is the energy in the chemical bonds of substance. You can usually find chemical potential energy in chemical reactions.
8. Elastic potential energy.
Elastic potential energy is energy stored as a result of applying a force to deform an elastic object. The elastic potential energy can always be found from the area under the force vs extension curve, regardless of the shape of the curve.
